Mateo Dixon
My name is Mateo Dixon, and I am currently a Division 1 hockey player at the University of Vermont, studying neuroscience.
I’ve been fortunate to work with NHL development coaches, NHL alumni, and leading scientists, all of whom have shaped my understanding of hockey and human performance. From the age of 11, I was trained and mentored by Dr. Greg Gannon, a performance specialist with expertise in medical and sports science.
At 13, my diabetes diagnosis deepened my passion for understanding the body and mind, driving me to explore new ways to adapt and excel. Over the past eight years, I’ve immersed myself in countless books, journaled obsessively, and consistently applied these insights to my life and craft.
This platform was born from my passion for hockey, science, and performance. My mission is to provide athletes with the tools, strategies, and knowledge used at the highest levels of performance, in a way that’s accessible to everyone. Whether it’s nutrition, recovery, or mindset, this is a resource for players who want to unlock their full potential.
